I’m a senior, and I got this book for me. Also different ones for two grandkids, 8 & 9. We’ve all enjoyed them,, they manage the 4 digit numbers just fine. I make mistakes once in a while, so I got a bottle of whiteout for that. If the numbers are too small get an inexpensive jewelers’ Head magnifier. I don’t need one for this but I see by the reviews many do. I use one to thread my sewing machine. I prefer this to coloring books, but you definitely can color these pages. Many say they’re doing dot-to-dot for relaxation. That’s just one of the reasons I like them. I can do them while I listen to TV… I have a tall surface, so sometimes I stand and work puzzles… Better for us seniors.

I ordered the set of 4 books on Wednesday and I am half way through book on by Thursday.

I have always loved dot-to-dot books and I am glad that they have them that are more complex for adults. As you go through the book the puzzles get larger. Also there is a variety of puzzles so you do not get bored with them.

The numbers are small in this book so I bought a magnigying glass to help with that. It works fine and does not slow me down.

The book has some basic instructions in the beginning of the book. One of them is to follow the nubers in order so the picture comes out. It also tells you how to draw long lines between numbers. I just thought anyone who is into dot-to-dots is familiar with following the numbers in the proper sequence. I may be wrong on this point.

But all-in-all the books are fun and some of the puzzles may be a little challanging but not too much. I bought books 1-4 and saw that there are books 5-7. They are now on my wish list to buy a little later.

As a child I enjoyed dot-to-dot books and thought this might be fun. It met and surpassed my expectations. As with most puzzle books, it began with easy ones and progressed to more difficult ones. Surprisingly, I had to erase a couple of times when I missed a number. The “tips” with each different type of puzzle were very helpful. The variety was interesting…not all just connecting numbers 1 to whatever. I usually worked over half the puzzle before I could tell what it was. The finished product was very satisfying. There are no completed pictures of the puzzles in the back, so it is up to you to do it on your own. I think it is my all-time favorite puzzle book.
